Taking the Struggle Out of Life
You can take the step of faith and position of trust in God to change positions. This response is the systematic plan of God to bring success and victory in your life. It is the alternative to life!
- Use the principle of the Word of God to change yourself first which will change the situation.
- What interferes with a person bringing about change in their life to stop struggling? You must deal with:
A. The State and Condition of the mind – Romans 12:1,
Ephesians 4:17-23, Titus 1:14
- The lack of control over your flesh – Galatians 6:7-10
4 Things Happen when I’m guided by My Flesh:
1. I live like a sinner – out of the will of God
2. I forfeit the benefits of a righteous life and experience struggle. Consistency is everything!
3. I pass my contamination on to others and cause them pain and struggle.
4. It keeps me out of a position to be blessed continuously. Harvest held up!
- By not taking control over your mind and body, you create bad decision-making with your household, career and relationships: (there’s a call to repentance)
There are three components to making bad decisions:
1. Lack of understanding
2. Misplaced priorities
3. Lack of understanding Kingdom principles
Bad decisions can cause unnecessary emotional distress that you didn’t have to experience.
- Disobedience to truth causes death– Deut. 8:20, Isaiah. 1:16-20
4 Things that are guaranteed when I disobey God
1. Inescapable consequences which ties God’s hands
2. Unnecessary delays in the plan of God3. I misrepresent the Kingdom of God4. I have the potential to loose control in other areas which causes more struggle
The Word of God says obedience is better than sacrifice. Therefore to walk in continuous blessings and not struggle, I must become disciplined in both my public and private life and do the following.
1. Live the life I proclaim – Be an example of a Christ!
2. Live according to the Word – Being a doer!
3. Love my neighbor, my brothers, and those who use me! 4. Forgive my enemies and those who act ungodly!
5. Made up my mind to be a sower and not a God robber! Mal. 3:8-12
There should be no painful effort in living a prosperous life. Proverbs 10:22 and Deuteronomy. 8:18
God didn’t send Jesus for us to experience lack and struggle all of our lives. John 10:10
Don’t hang around the stingy & greedy: Stinginess causes continual struggle! Proverbs 28: 22 A stingy man is eager to get rich and is unaware that poverty awaits him. 23 He who rebukes a man will in the end gain more favor than he who has a flattering tongue. 24 He who robs his father or mother and says, “It’s not wrong”— he is partner to him who destroys. 25 A greedy man stirs up dissension, but he who trusts in the LORD will prosper.
